Job Opportunities

There are a couple of questions that need to be answered.  (A)  Will this be a personal business with "self-employed" status?, or
(B) Will you incorporate?

The first thing you need is a name and it needs to be registered with the State Department of Revenue where the business is located.  You will need an SS4 Form to establish your Employer Identification Numberor (EIN).   You need an EIN if you plan on establishing relationships with suppliers.

Next if you plan to incorporate (Chapter S, Chapter C, or Limited Liability Corporation) you will need to consult with your CPA and your Attorney.   You will need the following:

  • Form SS4 (Employer Identification Number)
  • Form 2553 (see your attorney)
  • Titles of Incorporation (see your attorney)
  • Business Plan (see your CPA
  • Financial Plan (see your CPA)
  • Accounting Practices & Procedures (see your CPA)
  • Commercial Checking Account
  • Business Cards & Stationary
